September was a very busy month. Between work responsibilities and church obligations, I found very little time for CCC. We made some minor progress but not as much as I had hoped we would.
However, James reminded me the other day that when I get in a hurry or impatient with my own progress, God just might have another plan. In fact, His timeline is what's most important. He is continuing to teach me, to grow me and to build my character. I know that He will take as long as is necessary to get me ready for His work.
So I press on. For the prize. Forgetting those things which are behind.
Today was a good day. James and I spent about 6 hours each putting the final touches on the last few chapters for our first manual. God blessed and we were able to make good progress in a short amount of time. In fact, as I looked at what we have done, I was amazed. I didn't even realize we were so close to having the manuscript ready.
Our plan is to have some folks read some sections of the manual and give us some feedback in the next week or two.
We're getting closer. To Him be the glory.
